Schedule & Structure
- Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)
- On-call availability required for urgent repair needs
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs and maintenance priorities
General Maintenance & Repairs
- Diagnose and repair issues across multiple restaurant locations, including:
- Kitchen equipment (ovens, smokers, fryers, refrigeration units, etc.)
- Plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixtures)
- Basic electrical (lighting, outlets, switches)
- General facility repairs (doors, hinges, shelving, minor carpentry)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner across all store locations
- Travel between locations as needed to complete repairs
- Communicate clearly with store leadership regarding timelines and repair status
- Prioritize urgent issues that impact operations, safety, or customer experience
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas during and after repairs
- Follow all company safety protocols when working with equipment and tools
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work (restaurant or commercial kitchen experience strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of back-of-house kitchen equipment and systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Comfortable handling a wide range of repairs (mechanical, minor electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A self-starter who enjoys hands-on work and solving problems
- Someone who takes pride in fixing things the right way the first time
- Comfortable working independently and managing their own time
- A dependable, steady presence who can be counted on when issues arise

- Travel between store locations is required
- This role is considered on-call, with variability in weekly workload
