Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support the growth and development of each child.
- Incorporate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Follow cleaning guidelines and schedules set forth by the lead teacher and toddler program
- Follow a daily routine and schedule of activities, meal times and take guidance from lead teacher
- Work well with coteachers completing tasks in the classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience in daycare, preschool settings, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Skills in behavior management to effectively address various classroom situations.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR required
- An enhanced background check through IDHW
