Kinder Morgan is the largest independent terminal operator in North America, providing a strong, reliable network of 144 terminals serving our customers’ storage, distribution, blending and logistical needs. Our terminals store and handle renewable fuels, petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils and other products. We have a combined liquids storage capacity of approximately 151 million barrels and handle about 59 million tons of dry bulk materials annually.

- Strong commitment to safety and have active participation in the safety program
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, various operating systems, and other company software)
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, regulatory, and Company requirements.
- Demonstrate performance and leadership toward SQE & operational excellence
- Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers and must be willing to use personal and/or company vehicle in the course of employment.
- Must pass and complete Safety training/certification as required by customers to work in their facilities and as required by Kinder Morgan at all locations.
- Must obtain and/or meet all requirements to enter foreign trade zones such as background checks by the Department of Homeland Security, i.e. obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
- Must be able to pass respiratory fit testing.
- The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
- Understand and comply with customer and Kinder Morgan's rules and policies.
- Must be willing and able to work as a part of team, take direction from supervisor(s), keep required work schedules, focus attention to details, and follow work rules.
- Ability to identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- This position consist of office and outside work (terminal yard) and adverse weather conditions may apply.
- Must be able to wear standard and specialty personal protective equipment (PPE – hard hat, goggles, slicker/rain suit, steel toe or metatarsal boots, ear plugs, face shield, safety glasses, respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus, various type of gloves, etc.).
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, etc. for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to carry company issued pager and/or cellular telephone/radio and be on-call for work as may be required, assigned and scheduled.
