What We Are Looking For
- Must be able to work shift work including Holidays, weekends, and overtime.
- Must have knowledge of DOT requirements pertaining to truck shipments.
- Ability to effectively communicate in various forms, including radio, telephone, and email.
- Ability to work on-task and without direct supervision.
- Must have an attention for detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work with a team and follow work rules.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules.
What You Will Do
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Must be able to hear and smell for deficiencies or hazards.
- Overtime may be required and is anticipated.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required.
- Must be available to respond to call-out as assigned.
What You Need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) card.
- Effectively communicate, orally (face to face and by telephone) and in writing, in English with coworkers, vendors, and truck drivers.
- Read and understand written material (in English), including use and understanding of basic numerical calculations.
- Must have basic computer skills. (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to carry and communicate over a company provided mobile radio.
