This is a full-time on-site role for an Outpatient Mental Health Counselor, located in Cocoa, FL. The counselor will provide therapeutic services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation to clients facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Responsibilities also include engaging in relationship counseling, supporting client progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients. Additionally, the counselor will maintain case notes and manage case records for continuity of care.
- Experience in Mental Health counseling and Psychology, with a strong understanding of emotional and behavioral issues
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning to design effective therapeutic interventions
- Skills in Relationship Counseling to support individuals and families in achieving healthier relationships
- Case Management experience to maintain accurate records and coordinate services
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, families, and colleagues
