Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development for infants.
- Provide attentive care that meets each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards.
- Observe and document developmental progress, sharing insights with parents and team members regularly.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood education best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and childcare policies at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a warm and engaging environment.
- Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers.
- Familiarity with caregiving routines including feeding schedules, diaper changing, sleep routines, and developmental activities.
