Job Summary
Kindel & Company is seeking a personable, polished, and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. Associates work directly with elevated brands in menswear, home decor, grooming, jewelry, and timepieces. Responsibilities include customer assistance, merchandising, sales transactions, and contributing to the overall success of daily store operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product selections and styling needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Share product knowledge and demonstrate features and benefits when appropriate
- Build sales by suggesting complementary items and promoting featured products
- Maintain visually appealing merchandise displays and ensure the store is well stocked
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Complete transactions with accuracy and handle cash responsibly
- Provide attentive customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor
- Support store leadership with onboarding and guiding new team members when needed
Requirements
- Prior retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Experience working with elevated or premium brands is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with customers
- Ability to perform basic retail math for transactions and inventory
- Professional appearance with a friendly, customer focused attitude
- Experience with POS systems, merchandising, or stock management preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
