This is a temporary role with full-time hours. The hours will be determined based on availability and need, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts. ResponsibilitiesHigh volume of phlebotomyMaintain and inventory supplies for the clinical operationsEnsure lab specimens are ordered, collected, and sent to proper labsDocument patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient recordsUtilizing Kindbody's proprietary EMR system and online laboratory portals to place lab orders and print patient labelsAssist provider or ultrasound technician with various fertility and GYN proceduresPrepare and maintain a safe surgical environmentSterilization of medical instruments using an autoclaveTake vital signs and provide general clinical assistanceAssists with the clinical care of fertility patientsProvides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructionsProvides pre and post op education Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ familiesEnsure the patient environment is set up, organized and cleanWorks independently to assure the program goals are achievedWilling to train new team membersSupport and promote excellence in customer serviceProvide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in your day to dayWho You Are Completion of a formal MA programCPT LicenseStrong phlebotomy skillsAbility to give intramuscular injectionsMinimum 2 years of experience in GYN, fertility is a plusMinimum 1 year experience in GYN proceduresMinimum 2 years experience working in an EMRMinimum 1-2 years experience in supply ordering and inventoryKnowledge of Medical Instruments and SterilizationStrong communication skills & a team playerWillingness to be flexible and cross train in other roles when necessaryDetail orientedExemplifies strong customer service skills and professionalismOpen to work weekends and holidays as needed
