What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trim Agent position at Kind Therapeutics USA?
Summary:
The Trimmer Agent performs duties as assigned within the Trim department including trimming, cleaning, weight recording, machine sorting, real time quality inspection of flower and regulatory compliance that adheres to the regulations established by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.
Essential Functions:
- Can tightly hand trim 2.5 lbs of finished flower per day.
- Maintains performance in a high stress-fast paced work environment.
- Understanding that all sub departments within production are tied to measurable performance metrics and strives to achieve expected rate of performance through speed & accuracy while trimming and completing other department related goals through focused and prompt attention to the job at hand.
- Accurately trim and process all harvest batches in accordance with MMCC compliance regulations.
- Routine visual inspection of product for correct consistency/quality, each trim agent is responsible for real time product quality inspections during trimming.
- Completes the trim schedule as directed by the Trim Lead.
- Notifies direct supervisors if potential bottlenecks and/or issues related to production operations arise.
- Assists other Production sub departments as directed by the supervisor and/or leadership team.
- Maintains professional and technical cannabis knowledge by reviewing legitimate publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Ensures the stability and reputation of the marijuana cultivation facility by complying with legal requirements at the local and state levels.
- Ability to follow instructions on safe use of all equipment including cutting equipment
- Clean and sanitize packaging areas and all equipment utilized with trimming, to maintain production standards of quality, safety, and efficiency to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Always follow good manufacturing procedures.
Experience Requirements:
- Individuals applying must be a minimum twenty-one (21) years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license or ID and reliable transportation
- A State and Federal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Certain situations require that work is completed on weekends, afterhours, and holidays.
