Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sushi Chef located in Cleveland, OH. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing, crafting, and presenting high-quality sushi and other dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Daily tasks will include maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards, sourcing and handling fresh seafood, ensuring proper food storage and kitchen safety, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for customers. Additional responsibilities may include inventory management and assisting in menu development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and knowledge of Hygiene standards
- Strong Culinary Skills and experience in Cooking for high-quality establishments
- Thorough knowledge and skill in handling and preparing Seafood for sushi and related dishes
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and deliver consistent quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role is preferred
- Culinary certification or relevant experience is an advantage
