Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) or caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to clients with diverse needs. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and document medical records accordingly
- Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
- Operate EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient interactions and medical information
- Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other specialized medical procedures as trained
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with patient transfers
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- Support hospice care patients with compassion and respect for their dignity
Experience
- Prior experience in home health or community care settings preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or long-term care residents highly desirable
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes,
