Kind Care Services is looking for compassionate Personal Care Aides to join our team!
Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and caring Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team. The PCA will assist clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Help with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying rooms)
Prepare and serve meals or assist with feeding
Provide medication reminders (no administration)
Accompany clients to appointments or errands, as needed
Report any changes in client condition to the supervisor
Maintain documentation of services provided
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caregiving and long-term care settings
- Knowledge of first aid and patient observation techniques
- Familiarity with assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Experience in home and community care, including cooking and cleaning
- Background in social work or related fields is a plus
- Previous experience in group homes or nursing homes is preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
