About the team

The Senior Sourcing Specialist is a pivotal member of the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for driving the proactive identification and engagement of high-potential talent across the organization. This plays a central part in ensuring the company remains competitive by building and maintaining a strong pipeline of future-ready candidates. This role supports hiring across technical and non-technical functions and helping to shape the future of the workforce.

This position goes beyond traditional recruitment—it is focused on anticipating business needs, understanding evolving workforce dynamics, and contributing to long-term talent strategies by partnering closely with internal stakeholders to align sourcing efforts with organizational goals, ensuring hiring teams are equipped with the insights and talent connections needed to scale effectively.


About the role

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates for a variety of roles, including engineering, product, sales, and customer success.
  • Utilize a range of sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Boolean search) to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Conduct talent market mapping and competitor analysis to support workforce planning and competitive intelligence.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, aligned with business growth and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and define ideal candidate profiles.
  • Screen and assess candidates for qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular reporting on sourcing metrics and performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, sourcing technologies, and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Support long-term talent strategies by identifying future hiring needs and contributing to succession planning initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related

  • 5 years’ experience in a sourcing or talent research role, preferably within a SaaS, tech, or high growth environment.

  • Proven ability to source for a variety of functions with an emphasis on GTM and technical roles

  • Strong command of sourcing tools, techniques, and platforms

  • Experience working with modern applicant tracking systems (iCIMS, Greenhouse etc.)

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leaders

  • Metrics-driven mindset and experience using data to inform strategies and track performance

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Passionate about candidate experience and proactive talent engagement

  • Experience sourcing globally or in multiple regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, APAC).

  • Knowledge of SaaS business models and talent market trends.

  • Familiarity with DEI-focused sourcing practices and communities.

  • Experience supporting high-volume or rapid-scaling hiring environments.
