Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of menu items efficiently and accurately, following food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Serve customers with friendly, engaging service, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy hours and maintain workflow
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck’s kitchen area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting overall food service operations to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurants preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment involving serving or cashiering roles preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions; familiarity with grocery store or retail math is advantageous
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and perform kitchen duties safely
