Job Summary: Develops and delivers training programs educating team members on workplace safety, manages Corrective and Preventive Action system and implements and monitors the HSE processes by maintaining programs to meet all Federal, State and Local compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides revisions to HSE Training material ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and federal rules, and regulations.
- Ensures training records are maintained in the LMS and collaborates with Learning and Organizational Development to ensure process effectiveness.
- Performs HSE team member trainings – monthly, annually, and as needed.
- Delivers HSE related compliance training, safety meeting and other HSE training materials as appropriate.
- Ensures HSE Onboarding is adequate at meeting its objectives and has the necessary coverage.
- Maintains training compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, Hearing Conservation, Machine Guarding, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
- Provide training for staff in relation to HSE policies, practice, and procedures.
- Manages HSE safety software reporting system. Follows up on outstanding items to verify closure
- Participates in operational meetings as a representative of the HSE team.
- Responds and manages all safety related incidents during second shift.
- Maintains ISNetworld and Veriforce Safety Accounts.
- Compiles, organizes, and updates safety documentation and records.
- Records and files HSE documentation, including training records, inspection records, field audits, correction actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years’ experience in HSE or similar area required
- 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Professional Certifications preferred – OHST, ASP, OSHA 501 & 511
- Knowledge of state and federal laws, i.e., OSHA, EPA, DEQ, ANSI, ISO related to key areas of responsibility
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Strong attention to detail required
- Possess good organizational and project management skills
- Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
- Must have computer and technological skills
- Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Work Environment:
- Office/Manufacturing Environment – PPE required in specific areas
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, or exposure to chemicals
Physical Requirements:

- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.
