What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Remodeling Installer position at Kimmswick Kitchen and Bath?
Kimmswick Kitchen and Bath: We are a family-owned remodeling business established for over 5 years. We take pride in every project we put our hands on and build positive relationships with the homeowners we work with.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform advanced carpentry and remodeling skills to include: o Installation of LVT flooring o Tile installation (floor, wall, backsplash) o Cabinet installation with crown molding o Drywall hanging and paint ready finish
- Run job site to ensure excellent quality craftsmanship and on time completion.
- Daily communication with homeowners so that they are aware of what is happening on their job.
- Maintain clean and safe job site.
- Perform duties in an efficient professional and courteous timely manner.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
Minimum education and skills requirements:
- 4 years of experience in the remodeling field (lead installer)
- 3 years of kitchen and bath remodeling, including tile installation experience (lead installer)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
- Advance knowledge of the materials & installation of such materials used in kitchen/bath remodeling.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 50 lbs. independently for extended periods of time.
- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
