Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard is a historic, locally-owned orchard in Nebraska City, NE. Our store offers some of the best Apple Cider Donuts you will find. We also offer cookies, turnovers, and other food items.
We are looking for a doughnut maker to make fresh doughnuts, cookies, and turnovers along with other food items to serve out of our kitchen. You will make the final product look perfect and will understand how to create professional quality products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking and making delicious baked goods. He/She will be experienced in making doughnuts and other baked goods. The goal is to make perfect baked goods every time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients needed for baking (flour, butter, sugar, etc.)
- Bake by following instructions on our baking sheets
- Cleaning up the kitchen after shifts
- Undertake basic cooking lessons (e.g. making sandwiches)
- Store food in appropriate containers and shelves
- Make sure all ovens are clean after each use and keep an inventory of food supplies
- Cooperate with team members or other kitchen staff to maintain a high standard of service
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Work at a fast pace around the kitchen equipment or tables (e.g. prep tables)
- Stock inventory when inventory shortages occur
- Perform other tasks as assigned by manager or manager's aide that may include but not be limited to opening windows, sweeping floors, cleaning dishes, etc. that may be required during shifts
