Kimco Staffing is seeking experienced Welders / Fabrication Technicians to support a short-term manufacturing surge. Candidates should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with Engineering to build and improve tooling.

Position Summary
Kimco Staffing is seeking experienced Welders / Fabrication Technicians to support a short-term manufacturing surge. Candidates should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with Engineering to build and improve tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld tooling and steel components (Flux Core/FCAW)
- Fit, prep, and clean materials prior to welding; set up welding equipment and jig tables
- Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and weld quality; identify defects and perform repairs
- Support process improvements and troubleshoot tooling/design issues with Engineering
- Operate fabrication equipment (vertical band saws, grinders/sanders); maintain safe, clean workspace
- 3 years welding/metal fabrication experience
- Strong Flux Core (FCAW) on steel experience
- Blueprint/fabrication drawing interpretation
- Experience with tooling/fixture fabrication preferred
- Quality inspection capability; mechanical aptitude; ability to meet aggressive schedules
