Essential Responsibilities
- Perform shipping and receiving of domestic and international equipment, including equipment logging and tracking
- Utilize work ticketing applications to create, update, and manage service tickets
- Coordinate with shipping vendors regarding deliveries, pickups, and shipment status
- Support procurement activities by ordering parts and equipment as needed
- Maintain inventory tracking using the Costpoint system
- Assist headquarters with yearly inventory audits
- Coordinate vendor repairs and calibration services for test equipment
- Support management by tracking tasks and documenting costs for billing purposes
- Handle general shipping and receiving duties
- Process invoices and bills for payment
- Greet customers and visitors professionally
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Process and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare office correspondence, copy, fax, file, and organize documents
- Create and maintain electronic and paper project folders according to company procedures
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to organize data and prepare reports
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment preferred, AND Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience researching and resolving routine and non-routine issues
- Professional demeanor when interacting with management, customers, and vendors
