Post-Closing Clerk
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Onsite in Anaheim Hills, CA
Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a Post-Closing Clerk to join our mortgage team in Anaheim Hills. This position plays an important role in ensuring loan files are complete, accurate, and properly documented after closing. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify loan documents for accuracy and completeness after closing.
Scan, upload, and label loan files into the company’s document management system.
Track and follow up with title companies, escrow, and other partners to obtain missing or corrected documents.
Maintain digital and physical file organization in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Communicate professionally via phone and email to resolve outstanding documentation issues.
Assist with data entry, reporting, and general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior administrative or mortgage-related experience preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy; able to manage repetitive tasks without losing focus.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with scanning, file management, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor—someone who takes ownership of their work and maintains focus without distractions.
