Metal Lab Technician (Manufacturing)
We are seeking a hands-on Metal Lab Technician to support our Finishing Department in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for titrating plating chemicals for nickel and copper, laboratory testing, chemical analysis, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical and physical testing for metal finishing processes
- Maintain lab equipment, chemical inventory, and production bath records
- Troubleshoot lab equipment and support production operations
- Prepare chemical additions and bath make-ups
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience in titrating chemicals or electroplating preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and data entry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a factory environment
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
