Maintenance Mechanic (3rd shift)

1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic– $26–$31/hr. – Food Manufacturing
Location: Riverside, CA
Pay: $26.00 – $31.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 3rd Shift – 10pm -6:45am.
Typically work  10–20 hours overtime weekly.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production, packaging, and facility equipment in top working condition. This role offers consistent overtime and Saturday work, making it a great opportunity for skilled technicians looking to maximize earnings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial production, packaging, and utility equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Ensure all work meets food safety and regulatory requirements

• Complete work orders and document activities in CMMS

• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)

• Collaborate with other technicians and production teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred)

• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick) preferred

• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams

• Proficient with hand tools, shop tools, and precision measuring instruments

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS)

• Able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
