Machine Shop Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machine shop experience who enjoys a mix of production support, inspection, and shop organization. Position: Machine Shop Helper
Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 p/h

Job Details:

• Count, sort, and organize parts and pieces
• Perform tube cutting and bending operations, deburr parts using hand tools and/or deburring machines
• Operate manual press machines and press brake equipment
• Inspect finished products and document results accurately
• Assist CNC Operators and other skilled craftsmen as needed
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines

Requirements

• 3 years of machine shop or relevant manufacturing experience
• Able to operate a Press Brake Machine
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instrument
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematic
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regular
• Knowledge of Haas CNC Manual Mills & Lathes is a BIG plus
