Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently and safely operating forklift/s to move, locate, relocate, and stack products within the distribution center. This position requires an individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, has a strong attention to detail, is flexible in their tasks, and is comfortable working at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift/s you are site certified on to retrieve and store products at various heights within the warehouse.
- Use an RF scanner to accurately track and manage inventory.
- Pick and stage orders as required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with loading and unloading products from delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform daily equipment checks to ensure the cherry picker is in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and meet distribution goals.
- Flexibly get on and off the forklift/s you are site certified on to perform various tasks as required.
- Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of attention to detail.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50-75 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Frequent climbing on and off the forklift/s you are site certified on as needed.
- Comfortable working at heights to retrieve and store products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
