Production Racker

Purpose of Job:
Under the direction of the Racking Supervisor inspects and racks components using racking wire and large racks. Cleans components in the racking area. Keeps work are in good housekeeping condition.
Essential Functions:
- Clean and replace components
- Using hand and arm in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things
- Perform housekeeping activities in the Racking area
- Adhere to and promote all company safety rules and requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
- The ability to see details at close range
- Understanding and ability to work safely
- Ability to listen and understand basic information and ideas presented in English through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to write basic English
Physical Demand:
- Capable of lifting up to 25/lbs
- Continuous use of both hands
- Work standing most of the time
Working Conditions and Environment: .
- Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, cold and heat
- Wear Common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection
