Position Tittle: Blender 1st shift
Working Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (OT as Needed)
Working Days: Monday - Sunday (Days Off will be Determined upon Hire)
Pay Rate: $17.50/Hr.
Position Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Blender Operators produce tea blends by combining raw materials into WIPs using various equipment. Blender Operator 1 must operate blending equipment and perform basis adjustments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate, monitor, and maintain blending equipment to ensure high-quality tea blends.
- Follow formulas and production schedules, using correct raw and packaging materials.
- Inspect raw materials, report issues to QA, and take samples for approval.
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Complete necessary documentation and adhere to GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Assist in inventory, safety compliance, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Skilled in completing QC forms and basic calculations.
- Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs safely, work independently, and comply with company policies.
