Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety and compliance
Ensure EHS procedures, training, and documentation are followed
Participate in safety audits, investigations, and corrective actions
Quality & Food SafetyEnsure compliance with HACCP, GMP, USDA, FDA, and internal food safety standards
Partner with QA to resolve deviations and non-conformances
Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement
Operations ManagementOversee daily production to meet volume, quality, yield, and cost targets
Monitor real-time performance and adjust operations as needed
Optimize equipment usage and process efficiency
Maintain accurate production records (downtime, yields, KPIs, reports)
Leadership & Continuous ImprovementLead, coach, and develop production supervisors and teams
Drive improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HR
Build strong teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
QualificationsPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Must have 3 years of production management experience (cooked foods preferred)
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality systems
Proven ability to lead teams and meet production targets
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Work EnvironmentManufacturing facility with temperature variations and production equipment
Flexible schedule including various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
