Hydraulic Maintenance Technician
Location: Downey, CA
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
Schedule: Must be flexible to work later hours as needed
Pay: $90,000–$120,000/year
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and experienced in preventive maintenance and hydraulic diagnostic
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and component
- Perform preventive maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and system calibration
- Install and test hydraulic equipment to ensure proper operation
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manual
- Troubleshoot hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow OSHA and company safety standard
- Respond to emergency repairs and support equipment reliability
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
- 3–5 years of hydraulic maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hose
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and use diagnostic equipment
- Basic welding, fabrication, and computer skills preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skill
- Manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus
