Job Title: HR Coordinator - 1st Shift
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (D.O.E)
Location: Huntington Beach, Ca 92649
Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8:30am - 5:15pm
Job Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential support to the HR department, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping, and administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clerical support, including answering calls, filing, and assisting with events.
Maintain accurate HR records, both physical and electronic, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting jobs and creating new hire files.
Assist with HR projects, payroll processing, and other tasks as directed.
Required Skills/Attributes:
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and empathy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with HRIS systems.
Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Education/Experience:
2 years of HR experience or equivalent education.
Experience with payroll, HRIS, or similar systems is preferred.
HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily sedentary with occasional filing and standing.
Ability to lift files, bend, and use a computer for extended periods.
