Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

• Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst is an important part of our cybersecurity operations team. This role is responsible for triaging our day-to-day cybersecurity activities, implementing security measures, and ensuring our systems are safe and secure from potential threats. The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in protecting our company's systems and data.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the daily operations of all our cybersecurity tools and MDR solution
• Develop comprehensive cybersecurity actions, analyze these measures across the organization, and continuously monitor their effectiveness. This includes gaining knowledge about firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and data encryption programs.
• Regularly conduct cybersecurity audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses in our systems and processes. Propose strategic solutions to address these vulnerabilities and enhance our overall cybersecurity posture.
• Analyze the organization's response to cybersecurity incidents. This includes conducting thorough investigations into security breaches, coordinating response efforts, and assisting with any legal or disciplinary matters that arise from these breaches.
• Work closely with departments across the organization to integrate security measures into daily operations. This includes providing training and education to staff to ensure they understand the importance of cybersecurity and their role in maintaining it.
• Be an active member of our cybersecurity team, gaining knowledge and training to succeed in their Cybersecurity Operations Analyst role.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of cybersecurity.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 1 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst position
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Professional certifications like Security (Plus) or similar are preferred
• Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to a non-technical audience
• High degree of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  
  

The expected salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $70,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
