Job summary/expectations
Responsible for the efficient operation of commissary services at multiple detention centers throughout the state of GA.
Provide leadership and vision to individual site managers and staff. This should be done by visiting correctional facilities each day so that all customers are visited a minimum of once per every 60 days.
Provide Human Resource guidance, management and support to all Field Operations employees that fall under the command of this position in Georgia; to include the hiring, training and disciplinary functions associated with those positions
Provide annual reviews for each Field Operations employee in the Georgia territory. This position will be responsible for proper documentation reporting to corporate HR and Regional Manager.
Train new staff on distribution techniques for each individual facility. Distribute individual commissary orders to inmates as needed.
Maintain adequate staffing levels at all facilities.
Perform assistance in assessing facilities for equipment installs and upgrades
Assist in new installs of equipment and upgrade/replacement of equipment at facilities
Work with in-house and outside utility contractors, General Service and IT representatives for equipment abilities, placement, and installation.
Properly handle shortages or damages for orders within company policy.
Care for and maintain any on-site products and keep the work areas clean.
Maintain equipment necessary to carry out the commissary functions at each assigned facility. This will include training onsite staff.
Provide general hardware service to computers, onsite kiosks and related equipment as well as basic software maintenance and assistance in all Georgia accounts.
Assist with onsite fiduciary functions including but not limited to cleaning out of kiosks, financial reporting, credits and adjustments, deposits, and any other financial responsibilities as required by the facility.
Act as liaison with facility staff on a day-to-day basis.
Create and maintain professional relationships with agency management: local elected Sheriffs, Chief Jail Administrators, Detention Administration, Administrative Assistants, etc.
Assist facility staff with basic software training and operation.
Work closely with the Regional Manager to provide great service to the assigned facility including reporting service or relationship issues immediately.
Update and maintain entries into CRM platform (Salesforce).

Develop a plan to be at each facility on a regular basis to work hand in hand with our site managers and strengthen our relationship with the client facility.
Ensure that all facility security regulations and procedures are adhered to by all company staff on site.
Maintain a working knowledge of company software and equipment installed at assigned facilities.
Carry out duties as assigned by company management.
Minimum requirements
Possess the skill to accurately count and maintain records on large amounts of cash.
A general working knowledge of company software and related hardware used at assigned facilities to conduct the commissary operation.
Ability to manage others and work well individually and as part of a team.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Can work in a secure corrections environment.
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen; to include additional criminal background checks required by client facilities.
