Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Insurance Sales Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new insurance sales, maintaining client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to outside sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. The Insurance Sales Producer will play a key role in expanding our market presence and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored insurance solutions. A Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance license is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outside sales strategies to attract new clients and expand market share
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, follow-up, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions
- Utilize analysis skills to evaluate client data and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling insurance products
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Stay informed about industry regulations to ensure ethical practices
- Engage in telemarketing efforts as needed to generate leads and promote insurance products
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to foster long-term relationships and retention
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader client base
- Familiarity with sales administration tools, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Analysis skills for evaluating client data and market trends to optimize sales approaches
- Experience in customer service roles is advantageous
