Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to lead and nurture the spiritual growth of our youth community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging programs that foster faith, provide mentorship, and support the emotional and spiritual needs of young individuals. This role requires a strong commitment to Christian values and the ability to connect with youth through various activities and teachings.
Duties
- Commit to 10-15 hours of work per average week. With additional time on occasion, as appropriate. Normal obligations include Youth Sunday school, Sunday Worship, Wednesday evening Bible study, and bi weekly Sunday evening youth gatherings.
- Willing to supply the pulpit in absence of the Senior pastor.
- Lead and supervise Youth fundraisers; Must be willing to lead by example to our youth.
Expectations
- Give Evidence of their faith in Jesus Christ and continuing to grow in God's grace. Will become a member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, an American Baptist Congregation.
- Has a desire to minister with and to teenagers and their families, and work in cooperation for children's ministry leaders.
- Additional time would include working at teen summer camp, Vacation Bible School week, Youth Sunday, Youth trips, and lock ins.
- Must be able to work with volunteers and the families of the youth.
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to undergo a background check.

Pay: From $19,000.00 per year
