Additionally, the Superintendent is responsible for advanced system diagnostics, troubleshooting complex field issues, and managing equipment start-ups to guarantee optimal performance.
HVAC Superintendent Qualifications
- Experience: 6 years of HVAC installation experience.
- Leadership: 3 years in a leadership role.
- License: Valid Driver's License.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Core Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently
- Mobility and Agility: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods
- Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
- Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments
- Capable of taking full ownership of a project from start to finish, while maintaining the adaptability and team-first mindset to step in and support other projects when necessary.
- Oversee quality and safety guidelines within your project(s).
- Manage subcontractors being utilized for the job.
- Forecast manpower, tools, and materials.
- Communicate effectively with Builders, Project Managers, and team members.
- Build, maintain, and execute project schedules.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

In accordance with Colorado State Law, the following information outlines the expected compensation range and comprehensive benefits offered for this position:
- Review Schedule: 90-day, 6 month and 1 year competency reviews with opportunities for professional growth and pay increases.
