We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for an Office and Digital Filing Coordinator to join our fast-paced Collections team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for e-filing documents with various courts, as well as copy court work for physical filing.

Compensation: $21-$23/hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform a high volume of scanning, copying, emailing, indexing, and faxing
  • Perform a high volume of electronic filing of legal documents to various courts, following each court’s protocols, through multiple platforms, with accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor status of e-filed documents to ensure successful processing
  • Print and distribute filed documents to appropriate parties/locations
  • Communicate with court personnel to troubleshoot e-filing issues
  • Responsible for internal deliveries, including mail rounds and delivery of documents between the floors in the office and routing to other offices
  • Maintain presentation and cleanliness throughout the office, including supply room, mail room, and kitchen when doing weekly inventory and stocking
  • Order and maintain office supplies and place service calls for office machinery
  • Perform additional clerical and/or administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and produce a high volume of work
  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and procedures (copiers, scanners, filing, alphabetizing)
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Outlook
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move boxes of up to 50 pounds

The Following Qualifications Are Preferred

  • Prior clerical support experience
  • Prior electronic filing experience
  • Some knowledge of legal processes and the courts
  • Knowledge of unlawful detainers, post-judgment court paperwork, or rental housing paperwork

Schedule

Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

The primary responsibilities of this position require that the work be performed at the office full-time. We are not considering remote candidates at this time.
