Production Line Worker
Position Overview
The Production Line Worker is responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring products are assembled, filled, packaged, and prepared according to company standards. This role maintains a clean, efficient, and safe production area while meeting production goals and quality requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Assembly
- Operate production line equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform assembly, filling, packing, or labeling tasks as assigned.
- Monitor line flow and promptly report any delays, equipment issues, or material shortages.
- Ensure consistent output that meets daily production targets.
Quality Control
- Follow all in-house and regulatory quality guidelines and cGMP standards.
- Inspect materials and finished goods for defects or inconsistencies.
- Immediately report any quality concerns to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
- Accurately record batch data, counts, and relevant production documentation.
Equipment & Safety
- Set up, operate, and shut down equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation following sanitation and GMP standards.
- Follow all safety rules, including PPE requirements, lock-out/tag-out, and chemical handling procedures.
- Identify unsafe conditions and communicate them immediately.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with line workers, leads, and supervisors to maintain efficient workflow.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in training new production staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (20–50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math, counting, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to production changes.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing floor environment with moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to machinery, cleaning chemicals, and standard PPE requirements.
- May require overtime or shift flexibility depending on production demand.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
