Job Overview
As an Inventory Management & Customer Service Associate, you'll work alongside our experienced office team to support inventory management, customer orders, industrial vending systems, and day-to-day office operations. You'll receive hands-on training in our ERP system, inventory processes, industrial tooling, and customer inventory management programs. Depending on business needs, you'll work both from our office and at customer facilities, helping manufacturers improve their tooling inventory and operations. No prior tooling experience is required-we're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys helping customers.
Duties
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and our ERP system
- Analyze inventory levels and usage to help customers maintain efficient inventory
- Assist customers with orders, product questions, and general customer service
- Support customer inventory management programs
- Help set up, maintain, and restock industrial vending systems
- Perform on-site inventory counts and inventory reviews at customer facilities
- Create inventory reports and maintain accurate records
- Assist with purchasing and vendor communications as training progresses
- Help identify inventory shortages and recommend replenishment
- Work closely with our office team to support daily operations
- Assist with additional office and operational responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with inventory management
- Manufacturing or industrial distribution experience
- ERP software experience
- Purchasing or customer service experience
- Knowledge of industrial tooling
