- Observe work in progress for infrastructure and building construction projects to ensure conformity with specifications
- Writing daily reports summarizing construction activity and other important information for the day, and monitoring and performing regular check on all contractor and inspector work progress
- Communicate orally with general contractor, subcontractors, owners, and staff members
- Knowledge and experience in construction inspection for government and commercial projects
- Able to review plans for constructability
- Willing to work the hours necessary to complete the inspections, including night and weekends
- Must have reliable transportation
