Position Summary
The Disbursements and Accounts Payable Manager oversees the Company’s end‑to‑end disbursement operations, including invoice workflows, vendor management, payment processing, corporate card reconciliation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures timely and accurate payments, strong internal controls, adherence to policy, and a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Utilize Yardi Accounts Payable, Yardi PayScan, and Yardi ERP modules to manage invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and payment workflows.
At Kilroy, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within the role. The base pay range for this role is between $48.08 and $57.09, and your hourly rate will depend on your skills, experience and training, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as well.

This role ensures timely and accurate payments, strong internal controls, adherence to policy, and a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Provide day‑to‑day guidance, coaching, and development to AP staff.
- Manage workload prioritization and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
- Oversee invoice capture, approval routing, exception review, and payment processing.
- Route GL disbursement batches for approval and coordinate execution of payments.
- Manage AP aging and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, W‑9 collection, TIN verification, and master data maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
- Manage 1099 reporting and support auditors.
- Partner with Treasury on positive pay and bank exceptions.
- Evaluate AP processes, including workflow approvals and disbursement processes, and identify automation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain KPIs for AP effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Utilize Yardi Accounts Payable, Yardi PayScan, and Yardi ERP modules to manage invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and payment workflows.
- Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements within Yardi to improve AP automation, approval routing, and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with IT and system administrators to ensure accurate system configuration and support issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7 years AP or accounting experience.
- Strong AP operations, vendor management, and compliance knowledge.
- Experience with Yardi systems, including Yardi P2P and PayScan.
