Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, ensuring all fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems function properly.
- Maintain building interior spaces through painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general facilities maintenance.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out welding, carpentry, or mechanical tasks as needed.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule upcoming tasks.
- Supervise or coordinate with other maintenance staff or contractors to complete complex projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical work, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other facilities equipment.
- Assist with the installation or upgrade of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to tenant requests or issues related to building operations.
- Support manufacturing or industrial facilities by maintaining production-related equipment and ensuring operational continuity.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or property management roles with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with schematics reading, electrical equipment repair, welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and use of hand tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Supervising experience is preferred to coordinate teams or contractors effectively.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical troubleshooting techniques including use of ohmmeters.
- Strong understanding of building interior maintenance standards alongside facilities equipment maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions or updates.
- Experience working within manufacturing environments or large residential complexes is advantageous but not mandatory.
