Pico Fitness Center Team Lead

Compensation and Benefits: 

• Compensation: Starting wage $18.65 - 19.40, adjusted based on experience

Job Summary: 

A leader at the Pico Fitness Center Front Desk, the Front Desk Lead will greet members, resort guests and the public who are using the Fitness Center and make sure their needs are met.  This includes check in, scheduling appointments and scheduled events, selling pro shop and café items, memberships, day use passes, etc., as well as answering phone calls.   

Summary of Key Responsibilities:  

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

• Making appointments for pool usage, answering questions, and solving problems for PFC members, employee members, resort guests and the public 
• Selling memberships, day use passes, selling classes and services 
• Disseminating information about PFC activities such as: swim lessons, exercise classes and bootcamp sessions to members, resort guests and the public  
• Responding to emergencies 
• Act as Supervisor on Duty on the Managers days off 
• Pool Chemical Testing & Application
• Coordinating Class Schedules and assist with employee schedules.
• Training staff with point of sale system, RTP.
• Assisting with onboarding and training of new staff.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Basic education (high school)  
• Basic math skills 
• Some supervisory experience preferred 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Basic understanding/experience of fitness centers/equipment preferred 
• Exemplary customer service skills 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to bend, twist, squat and lift up to 40lbs 
• Snow & Ice Removal
