Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:
Ensure the safety of all people riding Killington and Pico ski lifts through effective team leadership in preventative and reactive maintenance.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, manage and coordinate all assigned maintenance functions
- Assists management crew in scheduling and training of staff to ensure efficient department operations
- Assign and check completed work, resolve problems and assist staff in all aspects of lift maintenance
- Assist in planning operating and capital budgets of assigned functions
- Accept the responsibility of manager when requested or necessary
- Ensure that lift stations, tools, equipment and work areas are kept clean and good operating condition
- Review inspection reports and schedule lift maintenance work
- Prepare a variety of administrative/operations records and reports
- Assist in administering the lift maintenance record keeping systems Observes and assists technicians in the completion of their record keeping
- Ensure adherence to all applicable safety procedures, codes and standards
- Maintain effective communication to ensure productive inter-departmental relations within the mountain operations group and across the resort
- Deal regularly with a variety of lift manufacturers and other outside firms to order parts or repairs, discuss lift problems and the like
- Assist with parts ordering and maintaining inventory
- Provide superior service to our guests at all times
- Understand and encourage the Killington Hospitality Standards
- Perform all related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- 5 years of relevant technical and supervisory experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with chairlift operations and maintenance including: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and structural components
- Previous management experience required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong administrative and supervisory skills. Good math skills; some previous budget management experience desirable
- Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of other company personnel and outside firms
- Must be flexible and able to adjust to the requirements of the resort as needed
- Good analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to push, pull and/or lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Willing to work outdoors in all conditions for extended periods of time and must be comfortable working on towers/elevated equipment in harsh conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, etc.
