Position Summary
The Cutting Team Member is responsible for safely and efficiently cutting brownies to specifications while maintaining product quality, proper documentation, and a clean, organized work area. This role supports flow between baking and packaging by managing rack rotation, handling product, and assisting other departments as needed.
Typical Hours 11PM-7:30 AM - Sunday- Friday availability required.
From $18 per hour $1 shift differential
Key Responsibilities
Move racks safely between baking, freezer, and cutting areas
Cut brownies to required size and quality standards
Catch and properly handle finished product to prevent damage or waste
Monitor product quality during cutting (appearance, portioning, defects)
Maintain steady workflow to support production targets
Understand and properly use different blade types for cutting
Follow correct cutting procedures and changeover expectations
Identify and report damage or performance issues
Ensure equipment is set up correctly before production begins
Manage rack rotation to ensure proper cooling and FIFO practices
Communicate with baking and packaging teams to maintain product flow
Prevent bottlenecks by staging racks appropriately
Accurately complete all required production and quality documentation
Follow all food safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements
Adhere to company policies and audit-ready practices
Support traceability and lot tracking as required
Clean equipment and work area per SOPs
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready workspace at all times
Follow end-of-shift cleaning and shutdown procedures
Support the baking department when needed
Assist in setting up the packaging room for production
Work collaboratively with team members across departments
Communicate issues, needs, or concerns to leadership

Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and documentation requirements
