The Manufacturing Leader II is responsible for guiding and supporting production operations for the company's larger programs. This role ensures that coworkers have the necessary tools, training, and leadership to build quality products while adhering to the 7 QMS Principles. The primary goal is to continuously improve the assigned area to meet internal and external customer needs. Key responsibilities include communicating clearly and concisely, using data to enhance Production, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Delivery, Engineering, Tooling and Capital Equipment, and Safety. Additionally, the role involves eliminating waste within processes and providing a stable workflow that meets customer schedules, overseeing processes and assisting the team in process improvements, providing input on training needs based on defect and process improvement data, and monitoring and ensuring the production of quality products through teamwork.
The Manufacturing Leader II oversees the manufacturing performance and the efficient, effective allocation and execution of resources within the program's budget of their assigned area, leading a team of at least 35 employees, including a minimum of 4 Team Leads, or managing site responsibilities. This role involves frequent interaction with customers, representing KMM professionally, and maintaining responsiveness and respect at all times.
