The Part-Time Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department with a focus on data entry, records management, and employee support. This position must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to interact professionally with faculty, staff, and visitors while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to radical hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Effective use of the ERP Jenzabar EX system for data entry
- Extensive filling
- Answering phones and assisting employees
- Second point of contact for visitors in the office
- Assist with regular HR reports, such as employee headcount, leave tracking, and compliance metrics
- Respond to general HR inquiries from staff and faculty in a timely and professional manner
- Support the gathering and analysis of HR data for institutional reports, audits, and accreditation reviews
- Assist with the employment process
- Participate in the development or revision of HR forms and templates
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing employees
- Maintain digital and paper records of employee data, including personnel files and digital updates
- Organization and maintenance of employee files
- Prepare employment verifications, letters, and standard HR correspondence
- Assist with employee training programs and tracking employee evaluations
- Assist the follow up on mandatory training completion
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks as needed
- Greet employees and other office visitors
- Other duties, as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in HR, business, or related field preferred
- Customer service & handling phone calls experience
- Ability to think logically, make decisions and solve problems
- Strong organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Data entry skills, spreadsheet, and word processing proficiency
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work in a typical office environment

- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

- The rate of pay is $14 to $16 per hour dependent on experience, for up to 19 hours per week.
