Cafe Team Member

Kiki's Health Cafe is located in Downtown Evergreen. We serve smoothies, acai bowls, poke bowls, and healthy juices and teas. We are hiring a new teammate that shows enthusiasm, has high standards of excellence, and capable of working alongside our health focused team.

Kiki's Health Cafe is open daily from 8:00am - 7:00pm. Shifts are approximately four to six hours long, and can vary from as early as a 7:30am start time, to a 2:00pm start time.

Compensation

• Base Compensation: $12.14 per hour
• Additional Compensation: team members participate in a tip pool and receive a share of tips based on the the total tips earned during that day.
• Estimated Total Hourly Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule Expectations

• Approximately 25 - 40 hours per week
• Four to five shifts per week
• Weekend and holiday availability as needed

Duties

• Prepare a variety of food and drink items following established recipes and standards.
• Operate POS systems - we use Toast - to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and process cash transactions with precision while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, including food handling, beverage service stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Support retail sales by upselling products and promoting specials to enhance guest experience and sales performance.

Skills

• Previous quick service restaurant or café experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service.
• Must have full use of arms and legs, be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying objects, and lift up to 50 pounds.
