Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a Shipper Receiver. In this role you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the shipping and receiving department is operating efficiently. Responsibilities include loading and unloading the shipping area, maintaining a clean work environment and assisting with various projects. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
The shift time is 1st Shift from Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 5:00pm as well as Fridays from 7:00am – 3:00pm EST. This position has an hourly rate starting at $21.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift with accuracy, precision, speed, and minimum supervision
- Shipping, receiving, and order picking at the warehouse
- Must be able to get along with and work well with others
- Lifting boxes and pails with pool materials
- Reading pick list and completing TDG training
- Checking and double-checking accuracy of orders and items
- Work independently and as a team to complete goals and tasks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift and have valid forklift license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to work OT and weekends when required
- Able to safely operate a forklift and must pass an internal safety evaluation test
- Occasionally exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force (up to 1/3 of the time).
- Frequently applying 10 to 25 pounds of force (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time).
- Constantly exerting greater than negligible force, up to 10 pounds (2/3 or more of the time) for moving objects.
- Must have the ability to perform the following: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Seeing, Hearing
