Your Role at KIK
This position reports to the operations manager and is responsible for staging finished product, and loading products as required by customer specifications for shipments. Join our team as a Shipper-packer where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful shipments from our facility.

Your Role at KIK
This position reports to the operations manager and is responsible for staging finished product, and loading products as required by customer specifications for shipments. Join our team as a Shipper-packer where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful shipments from our facility.
What You’ll Do
- The Shipper-Packer supports daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of production orders, including the movement and storage of materials and finished products.
- Inspect products and material components for quality, accuracy weight and defects before delivering packaging components and material to the production lines.
- Responsible for verifying inspect product type and weight.
- Move finished product from production line area after confirming that QA/QC is complete and product is in spec.
- Responsible for receiving and shipping bill of ladings, verifies the correct lot number of the finished product then, stages finished product and goods in production area.
- Loads the correct finished product in the required trailers, inspects trailer for holes in roof or floor before loading finished product.
- Performs weekly and monthly inventory control counts on packaging containers and finished products.
- Responsible for handling and re-staging any return shipments of finished products.
- Responsible for receiving and storing raw material and packaging containers in the designated areas.
- Responsible for housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED required, and previous Forklift experience
- The ability to work rotating shifts.
- Ability to safely wear respiratory protective equipment for extended periods while performing assigned job duties.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and respond to call-outs as required to support continuous manufacturing operations.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and complete production records
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, established procedures, work rules, and company standards.
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a physical examination, functional capacity assessment, and drug screening.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity levels, and manufacturing environments
- Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods
