QC Technician

Essential Job Functions
- Performs instrumental and wet chemistry analysis required on a routine basis
- Maintains accurate records, notebooks of analysis and work performed
- Maintains accuracy and reliability of all laboratory instruments
- Provides technical assistance and necessary documentation to Compounding, Production, Documentation, and Scheduling Departments as needed
- Comply with all GMP/GLP and customer requirements
- Always comply with all KIK Safety requirements
- Responsible for all QC testing of incoming chemical materials, in process, and finished product
- Ensure lab test equipment is properly always calibrated and before conducting any testing
- Maintains raw material information flow between the QC laboratory and Scheduling department
- Serves as a backup for the QC Lab Administrator
- Maintains the laboratory paperwork system according to cGMP’s
- Performs a first check on all incoming raw materials to verify trade name, manufacturer, certificate of analysis values, etc.
- Two-year vocational degree required
