At Kijona you’ll join a dynamic, mission-driven team working at the intersection of technology, growth and data.Role Overview:As a Junior Data Analyst at Kijona, you’ll work closely with our Data & Analytics team, supporting our platform growth and helping deliver insights that drive strategic decisions. You will use data to uncover patterns, build reports, generate dashboards, and support product and business teams with actionable analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their data career who is excited by SaaS, startup environments and making measurable impact.Key Responsibilities:Collect, clean and validate data from multiple sources (platform usage metrics, customer database, product/feature logs)Build and maintain dashboards and reports in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or LookerPerform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies and opportunitiesSupport ad-hoc requests from Product, Marketing, Growth and Sales teams: e.g., “What features are our fastest-growing users using?”, “What onboarding steps correlate with higher retention?”Assist with data modelling and maintaining data-warehouse tables/schemasDocument analysis methods, data definitions and reporting standardsCommunicate findings and insights in clear, business-friendly terms — help non-technical stakeholders understand the story behind the numbersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong proficiency in SQL (ability to write complex queries, join multiple tables, aggregate data, troubleshoot performance)Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker or equivalent)Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and basic statistical concepts (mean, median, correlation, regression)Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills: able to translate data insights into business recommendationsBonus: experience with Python/R for data analysis, familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV), experience with a data-warehouse.What We Offer:A collaborative and innovative startup culture based in NYC’s tech spaceExposure to all parts of the business: product, engineering, marketing — giving you the chance to learn widelyOpportunity for growth: as Kijona scales, you’ll have potential to move into senior analyst or data engineer tracksCompetitive compensationEngage with founders, entrepreneurs and high-growth SaaS journeys on a daily basis
